Let me tell you something about The Issues Band. They’ve been playing out solidly in the Central to Western Massachusetts area for a while now. They have a pretty busy gig schedule, so you know that a lot of people like them. They also have an engaging band name: Issues. Calling themselves The Issues Band creates a bit of a mystery. Are they a political band, or, are they a group of folks who need help?
Either way, nobody can ignore their name when seen on a marquee.
Their band’s eclectic mix of personalities is reflected in their music style selections. They play a vast mixture of all the latest Top 40, pop, and rock songs, mixed with fan favorite classic hits, dance anthems, and even some blues. With both male and female-lead vocals, they can channel many great singers when they perform.
The Issues Band covers songs by Paramore, Guns ‘N Roses, One Republic, Capital Cities, Daft Punk, Katy Perry, Tom Petty, Pink, Lady Gaga, The Black Keys, Lorde, Eve 6, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, The Go Go’s, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Nena, Wild Cherry, The Doobie Brothers, ZZ Top, Gavin Degraw, Imelda May, The Cars, Motley Crue, and a whole lot more.
The Issues Band will play this Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Wong Dynasty in beautiful Holden, Massachusetts.
