But in honor of Johnny D’s and to show our thanks for being CSN Boston’s #1 venue for many years, CSN Boston will donate the proceeds from this 11/19/15 talent showcase to support the Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC), an organization focused on preventing homelessness and hunger in the Somerville, MA area.
Fact: It costs approximately $1,100 to prevent one family from becoming homeless.
Johnny D’s owner Carla DeLellis and her staff were named SHC 2014 Honorees for being community leaders for many years by caring for the Somerville residents who are most vulnerable; cooking and delivering meals once a week to a SHC shelter, hosting benefits, etc.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance online at johnnyds.com. Doors open at 5:30p. This event is open to all-ages, but children 10-20 years old must have purchased zone seating and be accompanied by an adult.
