JoeyVellucciBenefiGuitarist/Lead Vocalist Joey Vellucci launched his performance career in 1982, starting out on a Fender electric guitar. Joey jumped right in writing songs and put a band together and began performing live in March of 1982 at the infamous Channel Club in South Boston.

After 29 years of performing live onstage and in the studio he can look back on a very respectable career that has taken him and his music from clubs to concerts, radio to film scoring, HBO to Showtime and Soap Opera’s to Movie of the Week and then ultimately to a major film by Stephen King.

Joey has played venues from Boston to San Antonio, from the smallest little bar to the top Las Vegas Casino The Mandalay Bay, big arenas, theaters, floating barges, ships, ferries, steamboats, on the beach, strip clubs, strip malls, hotels, motels, race tracks, casinos, up-scale, low-scale, no-scale you name the place most likely Joey has performed there at one time or another.

He has no musical limits and can and will play anything from Reggae to Jazz to Country to Funk to Soul to Rock to Latin to Gypsy Jazz to Surf and Folk to Flamenco and just about anything that may be wanted or needed on any show. He mixes it up on every show he does be it a solo/acoustic show or a full on smoking band situation to make sure that every last person gets to hear something they love.

The benefit jam will run from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, October 26 at the American Legion at 321 Winthrop Street, Medford Massachusetts 02155
