The North Shore is the place to be this Sunday night if you want to hear some great local blues acts while supporting America’s brave fighting men and women.
The Third Annual Blues For The Troops benefit will be held once again at Capones in Peabody, Massachusetts. The show runs from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this Sunday, April 13. A $10.00 donation is requested.
Bands will include Lee Hawkins All Star Band, Dan Lawson Band, Throwdown Blues Band, Melodix, and Drivin’ Blind with Steve Dineen. Other special musical guests will include Johnny Fatello, Terri O’Soro, Karl Bryan, David Papa, Tim Ryan, Michael Mazola, Ron Belben, Bruce Palmer, and Stephen Clarke.
Here is a word from David Papa; With under a week to go until our event, I wanted to offer SINCERE AND HEARTFELT THANKS to all of our donors for contributing to what promises to be an AMAZING day of music and community in support of Operation Troop Support and the brave men and women who make it possible for us to live our lives the way we choose!
I also want to take a moment to specifically thank several individuals who helped us solicit donations for our event and to remind them that if they’ve not already passed the donation along to Leo, they will need to get to Capone’s early with it/them for our display!
