Dear Readers,
I have been receiving the weekly newsletter from the Overdue Blues jam marketing people for some time now. The Overdue Blues jam takes place every Saturday afternoon at the Riviera Cafe in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. It seems to bring in a huge amount of players and music fans each week. The jam, though, sounds like it’s at the point where it s ready to broaden its appeal outside its local area. Below is a sample of the kind of update inforation they send out to report on each of their weekly jams. Enjoy.
Ok…we hate to sound like a broken record, but amazingly enough, once again, this past Saturday, August 10th, we once again defied the odds by filling the house at The Overdue Blues Band Open Mic Blues Jam!
People not only came to participate and enjoy the music, the fine food, and the beautiful women, they also danced up a storm! Amazing!
We can’t express enough how much we appreciate the support and loyalty of all our friends, fans and fellow musicians. And we are truly blessed to have found a venue with such a wonderful staff and supportive management! Life is good!
As we close in on the waning days of summer, we hope to keep the momentum going and we look forward to an explosion of new fans and friends, as well as old, after the Labor Day holiday.
But for now, we hope to see you all again this Saturday!!
