Funk keyboard-vocalist Jen Kearney is trying to raise funds through Kickstarter so she can record her next album. Ms. Kearney explains below how to help her and her band.Here is Jen Kearney’s letter: Hi Friends, I hope your Halloween was great! I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that the band and I are trying to raise money for a new album through kickstarter. We have a goal of raising $5000 by November 18th. Kickstarter campaigns are all or nothing, meaning you have to reach your target amount. You can surpass the goal, but can’t fall short or the project receives no funding. In the past, I’ve put up my own money to record, mix, print and release albums. I’m currently not in a financial position to do that, so kickstarter is a great option. There are rewards in it for you as well. We’re not asking you to give something for nothing. Donations start as low as one dollar.
