Every Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Brian Young of WMFO.org. hosts his radio show he calls Crash Course For The Ravers. Log on, tune in, and get off to classic rock with lots of local Boston area bands sprinkled in. Co-host Marie Michelle is straight man to Young’s on air lunacy. Together, they will bring you deep cuts, lost classics, live tracks, and requests. In short, they will rock you.
Mr. Young describes himself as a Serious Bostonian with the gift for gab and a reputation for clairvoyance. He has a pleasant voice, a love for music and radio, and a vast amount of rock and roll knowledge. He also likes kittens, in a good way.
Mr. Young explained the title of his radio show, Crash Course For The Ravers: “I take the term Raver from it’s frequent use of the word in the 60’s and 70’s, meaning PARTY ANIMAL. Has nothing to do with today’s techno/rave music. ACCFTR is also a line in the David Bowie song “Drive-In Saturday.’”
Thanks for listening!
